SECURITY MARSHALS TRAINING on May 26 (Tues) from 19:00-20:30 in Room B2. Volunteers are invited to come. general_assembly Annual General Assembly

This year, our Annual General Assembly will take place on June 14, Sunday from 13:00-15:00 in the Parish Main Hall. We encourage a representative of each household to attend while the rest of the family can picnic in the park behind the Church. BBQ & drinks will be on sale.

To celebrate Pentecost Sunday, and the proclamation of the Good News to all nations, please come dressed in your national costumes at the 10:00 and 11:30 Masses. Bring a small national flag.

aalogo Outreach Report

The Parish’s Assistance Abroad Committee (AAC) sponsors projects (of modest amounts) for the promotion of education and formation in developing countries. Application forms may be obtained in the Parish Office. The new outreach report can be viewed here.

Catechism Catechism Registration 2015-2016

Please register for catechism (2015-16) online, please click here. Instructions are available once you login.

  • If you are new to the Parish and wish to register your children in catechism, you must first register as a parishioner, which can also be done on-line.
  • Please be aware that there is limited space for all levels, especially Levels 2 and 4. For levels 2 and 4, one year of attendance at catechism prior to these sacramental years is required.
  • Priority will be given to children of catechists and volunteers.

If you wish to become a catechist or volunteer for the programme in any way, or for further information regarding registration, contact Jane Gannon at rec(at)johnxxiii.ch.

Other Services

At Pope John XXIII Parish, a number of Masses and other services are celebrated such as:

  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in the Parish Chapel at Montbrillant every Friday from 18:00 to 19:00 except for the first Friday of every month when it takes place at 13:15.
  • Marriage: All couples planning to marry should register with us by calling the Parish Office. (Six months notice is the usual requirement.).
  • Funeral Services (Please contact the Parish Priest directly).
  • Baptism Services every 4th Saturday of the month at 12 noon except during the Christmas and Easter Seasons (Contact the Parish Office for more information).
  • The Sacrament of reconciliation (Confession) is available before and after each weekday Mass upon request or by prior arrangement. It will also be offered in the Chapel every Saturday from 17:15-18:00
