The Pope John XXIII Parish Religious Education Programme is set to resume it activities this September.

Enrolment and registration will take place on September the 5^th, 12^th, 19^th, and 26^th.

Catechism Classes will start on October 3^rd.

To maintain our RE Program we need many helpers:
80 for our teaching teams and 20 for the support services.

So please come forward and offer your help to guide our children in the development of their faith.

The minutes of the General Assembly held on the 20th of May 2010 are available.

An extraordinary meeting of the Parish's Liturgy Committee will take place on Monday, 13^th September, from 19:00-21:00 in the Conference Room.

All members are asked to attend this important meeting.

For the first time since the decision to change premises with St. Nicolas de Flue was made, our Saturday evening Mass at 18:30 on September 18^th will take place at St. Nicolas de Flue Church!

That same evening here at John XXIII Centre, the parishioners of St. Nicolas de Flue will be officially welcoming their new parish priest at their Saturday evening Mass at 17:15.

Adoration will take place as usual on Fridays from 18:00pm to 19:00pm in the Chapel and from 13:15pm to 14.15pm on the first Fridays of every Month.

The end of summer, and the beginning of a new school year, marks the time when many new members join our Parish.

Over the next few weeks, you can help by seeking out new faces and making these newcomers feel welcome.
On October 2^nd-3^rd, we will host a Welcome Weekend for our new members.

At each Mass, specially designed information packets will be available for all newcomers.

After the 10:00 and 11:30 Sunday Masses, representatives from various Parish Ministries will sit at information tables to allow new members to easily explore the many facets of life at Pope John XXIII.

If you are a Ministry leader, and are interested in sharing your Ministry information at one of these tables, please contact the Parish Office.

Pope John XXIII Parish would like to thank all those who volunteered, assisted and participated in making our Annual Kermesse Event a great success.

The Parish Youth Group Rock Solid welcomes kids from ages 11-14 every Wednesday evening in the Community Room from 19:00-21:00 for fun and games!

Auditions will be held in the John XXIII Center on Monday, September 27^th from 19:15 until 21:00.
Successful candidates will be invited to the Lector Training Course to be held on Saturday, October 9^th.
